The Honey Beez is a plus size dance troupe that performs at Alabama State University. The seven members including Anna Marshae and Johnae’ Dean are competing on America’s Got Talent, Season 12. They will perform during the fourth round of Judge Cuts, when singer/songwriter Seal (AGT judge Heidi Klum’s ex-husband) will serve as guest judge.
According to the local NBC station WSFA, The Honey Beez, which has been around since 2003, require members to be at least 250 pounds. On the ASU football field, they perform with the Mighty Marching Hornets Band led by Dr. James Oliver who said the Honey Beez “are famous for stealing the Hornet’s football game half-time shows.” See video below.
