VH1 has created a TV show about big time music moguls looking for new talent. Similar to Lifetime’s The Rap Game starring Jermaine Dupri, Signed (which is also filmed in Atlanta) features music moguls Rick Ross, the-Dream, and Lenny S. The three heavies in the music industry are offering up-and-coming hip-hop and R&B artists an opportunity to get “Signed” with a major record label.

Lenny S. (the S is for Santiago) is from the Bronx, where he started his A&R career as a member of the Bad Boy Records street team. He later worked at Roc-A-Fella Records and with Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter. Lenny has worked with everyone including Ne-Yo, DJ Khaled, and The Roots. He doesn’t just have a good ear, he also has a good eye. Check out his “behind the scenes” photography under the name Kodaklens (see below). P.S. Lenny was once engaged to former Cheetah Girl and The Real host Adrienne Bailon. They split in 2015. Signed airs Wednesdays at 9pm on VH1.
