Singer Sammulous (aka Sammi Collie) is a singer competing on America’s Got Talent, Season 12. According to his Facebook profile, Sammulous was “adopted” by 10-time Grammy award-winning, legend, Queen of Funk Chaka Khan, as her “nephew.” Just a few weeks prior to Sammulous’ audition on America’s Got Talent, he sang Chaka Khan’s hit song “Ain’t Nobody” in Bryant Park in New York City (see below).
This isn’t Sammulous’ first time on TV. In September 2016, he won First Place at Amateur Night at the Apollo where he sang the 1984 Deniece Williams song “Black Butterfly.” America’s Got Talent airs Tuedays at 8pm on NBC.
