Oscar Hernandez is one of the dancers competing on America’s Got Talent, Season 12. He stands out among the competition because of his amazing talent and his size. The 6’2″ tall dancer weighs 280lbs. He says people usually mistake him for a football player which makes sense since he spends a lot of time at football fields. Oscar is a professional choreographer for cheerleaders in the NFL (Dallas Cowboys), the NBA (Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors, Portland Trailblazers), and IFL (Arizona Rattlers), among others. During an interview with Fox 10 in Phoenix, Oscar said he’s been dancing his whole life and was scouted in high school where he danced and cheered. Whenever someone told Oscar he was too big to dance, he said that just motivated him more to succeed. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
