In the two-part Fresh off the Boat episode ‘This Is Us’, Louis (Randall Park) meets with singer Michael Bolton (who plays himself) who’s interested in buying Cattleman’s Ranch with the intent of “destroying Kenny Rogers” and his chicken restaurant empire. Meanwhile Jessica (Constance Wu) meets Mr. Royce, the headmaster of a new private school for Evan (Ian Chen).
Mr. Royce is portrayed by Howard Hesseman. He’s known for his roles on Boston Legal (Judge Robert Thompson), That ‘70s Show (Max), Head of the Class (high school teacher Charlie Moore), One Day at a Time (Sam Royer), WKRP in Cincinnati (Dr. Johnny Fever), Soap (Mr. Franklin), The Bob Newhart Show (Craig Plager), and Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman (Dr. Robert Williams), among many others. Fresh off the Boat airs Tuesdays at 9pm on ABC.
