On Teen Mom OG, after Ryan proposes to his girlfriend Mackenzie (she said yes!) Mackenzie meets with Ryan’s ex Maci Bookout. They meet at a cute café where Maci is quick to offer her congratulations to Mackenzie. Mackenzie shows her the ring and says, ‘Last time I had one was when I was a senior in high school.” That’s when she got pregnant. Yes, Mackenzie was a Teen Mom, too. She says she “slept through all my classes” due to being pregnant. Maci tells Mackenzie, “It’s a blessing that you totally get my side and especially as a teen mom.”
Maci takes that opportunity to tell Mackenzie that Bentley doesn’t enjoy his time with Ryan’s parents, Jen and Larry, because there “he’s alone, there’s nothing to do.” Maci says Bentley cries and begs her to not make him go there. “He can’t sleep in his own bed,” Maci continues (Bentley sleeps with Jen). “That makes Ryan so mad,” says Mackenzie. Maci suggests that they all sit down and remind Jen and Larry that they are the grandparents not the parents. Teen Mom airs Mondays at 9pm on MTV.
