Dancing With The Stars owes a lot to the movies. Without the magical work of Golden Age 20th century American cinema there probably wouldn’t be a show like DWTS. No Fred Astaire, no Gene Kelly, no Ginger Rogers, then probably no Val, no Sasha and no Peta. So DWTS ‘A Night at the Movies’ will honor the dancing cinematic past and ring in the future with style on movie night. Hey, La La Land proved the dancing musical in Hollywood isn’t just history after all. And that explains why La La Land choreographer Mandy Moore is guest judging for Julianne Hough.

It’s week 7 too, which means along with the sweet reminders of Double Features, it’s double elimination on DWTS. And anything can happen. Just last week Heather Morris and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were sent packing after getting a perfect score of 40. Heather and Maks didn’t get a chance to dance-off to save their spots (but they could hardly improve their scores anyway). Tonight dance-offs will end the show as the couples who aren’t immune will go head to head.
