In the Brooklyn Nine-Nine episode “Serve and Protect,” while the precinct deals with Terry’s ex Veronica Hopkins (guest star Kimberly Herbert Gregory) as their new auditor (she replaced Amy’s ex Teddy), Jake and Rosa are distracted when they meet the star of their favorite detective TV show Mark Devereaux (Nathan Fillion of Castle) and the producer Gary Lurmax.
The producer is portrayed by Greg Germann. He’s known for his roles on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (ADA Derek Strauss), Once Upon a Time (Hades), Chasing Life (William Conti), House of Lies (Greg Norbert), Ally McBeal (Richard Fish), Ned and Stacey (Eric “Rico” Moyer), Ellen (Rick), and Sweet Justice (Andy Del Sarto), among others. Germann is also a Broadway star (see below). Brooklyn Nine-Nine airs Tuesdays at 8pm on FOX.
