In the Trial & Error episode ‘The Case Gets Bigger’, Josh’s (Nicholas D’Agosto) boss from New York, Howard Mankiewicz, comes to East Peck to check up on Josh, which throws murder suspect Larry (John Lithgow) for a loop.
Josh’s boss is portrayed by Fred Melamed. Melamed is known for his roles on Casual (Charles Cole), New Girl (J. Cronkite Valley-Forge), House of Lies (Harvey Oberholt), Benched (Judge Nelson), and The Good Wife (Judge Alan Karpman), among others. Melamed is also well recognized for his roles in the films In a World… (Sam), The Good Mother (Dr. Payne), and Hannah and Her Sisters (Dr. Grey). Trial & Error airs Tuesdays at 9pm and 9:30pm on NBC.
