In the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta episode ‘Grapes of Wrath’, while Joseline and Stevie battle it out in court, Tommie decides to launch a new business by selling her own wine. While at a winery, she tells a man who works there, “Instead of drinking all of this s–t, I’m going to sell some of this s–t, and get my money back.” She explains, “That’s how you make a boss move.” Tommie invites Karen “KK” King to the winery to take a taste. Even though Karen says the idea of Tommie having a wine company “makes no kind of sense” because Tommie has had “a drinking problem,” Karen shows up to show her support.
Karen tells Tommie she’s proud of her but it’s important to stay sober if she really wants to succeed. Tommie indicates that she understands by saying, “Don’t get high on your own supply” and adds, “That’s why I’m doing this.” Love & Hip Hop Atlanta airs Mondays at 8pm on VH1.
