Teen Mom OG is back and the premiere episode is titled ‘A Fresh Start’, although Catelynn’s husband Tyler Baltierra doesn’t feel like he’s getting one. When he returns home from his counseling session, he tells Caitlyn what they spoke about — mostly about Tyler’s father Butch who went back to jail for the second time since his release in 2015. Tyler said he told that counselor that “I’m always thinking negative thoughts. And it’s a lot like how I felt as a kid.” When he mentions the most recent ordeal with his dad, Tyler says, “It’s pushing me right over the edge.”
When Catelynn tries to be supportive by asking “what do you need, I mean from me?”, Tyler says nothing. And then she gets upset. “It’s been a long year, a long year of not focusing on me,” Tyler says. “So, it does get exhausting.” Teen Mom OG airs Mondays at 9pm on MTV.
