During The Voice Live Playoffs, Troy Ramey of Team Gwen performed the 1971 Joni Mitchell song “A Case of You” in attempt to go from the Top 20 to the Top 12. It worked. Troy’s coach, Gwen Stefani, was beaming afterwards. “So tasteful,” she said. Competing coach Adam Levine had greater compliments to present to Troy including, “You’re one of the most intriguing people on the show.”

The two other artists representing Team Gwen to make it are teenager Brennley Brown and Louisiana’s Hunter Plake. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC. Troy Ramey’s take on “A Case of You” can be downloaded on iTunes.
