In the Bull episode ‘Bull Free Fall’, a state governor and co-owner of a skydiving company die during a jump. Bull (Michael Weatherly) helps the co-owner’s brother, Max Hyland, and his daughter fight a lawsuit filed by the governor’s widow. All Bull has to figure out is who sabotaged the parachute.

Max Hyland is portrayed by actor Frank Whaley. The versatile Whaley is known for his roles on Under the Dome (Dr. Marston), Ray Donovan (Van Miller), The Dead Zone (Christopher Wey), and in the films Pulp Fiction (Brett), The Doors (Robby Krieger), Field of Dreams (Archie Graham), and Ironweed (the young Francis Phelan/Jack Nicholson), among many others. Bull airs Tuesdays at 9pm on CBS.
