Alison Brie‘s intrinsic dignity — that underpinning that makes her comedy so strong and her beauty so engaging — is apparently encoded in her DNA. But then again, it’s not all nature either — because Brie’s recent post about her mom gives a pretty loud shout out to “nurture” too. Brie is in the news now for her marriage to Dave Franco — a happy Hollywood couple people like to root and cheer for. But a few days before that news hit, Brie posted an homage (see below) to her mom on Instagram in celebration of International Women’s Day.
The resemblance between mother and daughter is mind-blowing, right down to the irrepressible intelligence shining out from the eyes. Brie honors a “badass” woman who “raised two strong, independent women while getting a masters degree and working to educate and empower future generations.”
