In the Hallmark Channel movie Love at First Glance, Gazette writer Mary Landers is given a Valentine’s Day assignment — to write about the true meaning of love. On her way home from work, she exchanges glances with a handsome man on the train who leaves his phone behind. After they arrange a time to meet, she suggests interviewing his contacts “to see what kind of men he really is.” And he agrees!
Mary is portrayed by Amy Smart. She’s known for her roles on Justified (Allison), Shameless (Jasmine Hollander), Scrubs (Jamie), and Felicity (Ruby), among others. Smart is also recognized for her roles in the films Crank (Eve), The Butterfly Effect opposite Ashton Kutcher (Kayleigh), Road Trip (Beth), and Starship Troopers (Pilot Cadet Stack Lumbreiser). Love at First Glance premieres Tuesday, February 14 at 8pm on Hallmark Channel. It will air again on Feb 18 at 3pm, Feb 19 at 7pm, March 11 at 9pm and March 19 at 3pm.
