In the two-part NCIS: New Orleans episode ‘Pandora’s Box’, NCIS agents McGee and Torres come to the Big Easy to work with the New Orleans team as they search for a missing homeland security theoretical-terror playbook. Along the way, they’re treated to a performance by real-life country singer Maren Morris who performs an acoustic version of her hit song “My Church” from her album Hero.
[LEFT: Maren Morris’ HERO album also includes the song ‘Drunk Girls Don’t Cry’]
Morris, 26, most recently (the day before the episode airs) performed at the Grammys with Alicia Keys and won her first Grammy Award for Best Country Solo Performance (for “My Church”). She was also nominated for Best Country Album, Best Country Song, and Best New Artist. Oh, and she’s been touring with Keith Urban. NCIS: New Orleans airs Tuesdays at 10pm on CBS.
