In the Grey’s Anatomy episode ‘Jukebox Hero’, while Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) tries to find Alex (Justin Chambers), Richard (James Pickens Jr.) does his best to make Dr. Eliza Minnick’s first day at the hospital is miserable. He plans to block Eliza from ever stepping foot in the operating room.

Eliza is portrayed by Marika Dominczyk. The Polish-born actress is known for her roles on Brothers & Sisters (Tyler Altamirano), Heist (Lola), North Shore (Erika), and the TV series The Help (Anna, the Nanny), among others. Dominczyk is also well-recognized for her role as Bernadette in the 2005 film The 40-Year-Old Virgin. Grey’s Anatomy airs Thursdays at 8pm on ABC.
