In the TV pilot of Superior Donuts, Arthur Przybyszewski (Judd Hirsch) is the owner of a donut shop in a Chicago neighborhood that’s changing, whether Arthur likes it or not. When new customers start expecting free WiFi, he knows he’s in trouble so he hires a young man named Franco (Jermaine Fowler) to help him bring the donut shop into the 21st century.
