On the Teen Mom 2 episode ‘Fake Out,’ Jo and his fiancee Vee are at home with the kids (his son Isaac with his ex Kailyn; and his daughter Vivi with Vee). Jo tells Vee that he’s grateful that his relationship with Kailyn has been decent since Javi’s been back. (Kailyn and Javi are going through a divorce.) Jo says he’s pleased that Kailyn is counting on him a little bit more when it comes to Isaac. That’s when Vee asks Jo, since he’s been spending more time with Isaac, if he think he should have more custody – “like 50/50.”

Jo (wisely) says, “I just don’t think it’s a good time to do that.” He adds, “I’m content with the way things are going.” Jo reminds Vee, “I can go and see him whenever the hell I want, why do I need it writing?” Vee says, “You just never know.” She adds, “Yeah, you’re his dad but I don’t want you to be to the point where she’s taking advantage of you.” He says, “When it comes to Isaac, there is no taking advantage of me.” Teen Mom 2 airs Mondays at 9pm on MTV.
