Singer Jackie Evancho was in the spotlight as she chose to perform at Donald Trump’s inauguration. With the Trump administration rolling back Obama’s transgender bathroom legislation — leaving the issue for states to decide — Evancho, 16, immediately expressed her disappointment and asked for a meeting with Trump using Twitter, which is where Trump famously conducts much of his business. Evancho asked that Trump meet with her and her sister to “talk transgender rights.”
