On The Bachelor, Corinne Olympios has been deemed the villain of the dating competition show since the beginning. When she admitted to still having a nanny (she’s 24) who makes her lemon salad just the way she likes it, fans of The Bachelor “couldn’t stand her.” But after the two-on-one date that Corrine had to share with nemesis Taylor Nolan, the tide has changed.
When The Bachelor posted a video of Corinne getting ready for her date with Nick — popping open a bottle of champagne while soaking in a bubble bath and mocking Taylor who says she’s smarter than Corinne — many fans flooded the comments section with sentiments like “Is something wrong with me or what, because I kinda like her…” Now, Corinne is “hilarious” and “makes me laugh,” and the other girls on the show are “really boring.” Debra McClory wrote: “She [Corinne] surprised me. I judged her wrong in the beginning. She makes me laugh and is smarter than everyone thought. I wish she didn’t lead with her sexuality, but the last two episodes has shown that she is more than just that.” The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
