In the Bar Rescue episode ‘Don’t Tell Mom the Bar Is Dead’, Jon Taffer travels to Englewood, Colorado to check out Colorado State Pub aka St8 PUB (the logo looks like a license plate). The local craft beer bar is owned by a young man named Sean who reveals that he’s never paid for his own liquor nor has he paid the bar’s rent in the past 13 months. He owes $25,000 in rent and $10,000 from a loan. According to the Bar Rescue sneak peek, although Sean’s mother Pamela is very supportive and generous, “Sean’s drunken behavior is causing the decline of the bar” and he’s driving customers away. And now the landlord is forcing him to come up with the $25k in five weeks.
According to Google maps, the bar located at 4386 S. Broadway, Englewood, CO 80113 is now called Downstairs Home + Kitchen. See photo below. The interior is decorated with Playboy-esque magazine covers with the title Downstairs. Bar Rescue airs Sundays at 10pm on Spike.
