In the Emerald City episode ‘Science and Magic’, while Dorothy (Adria Arjona) and Lucas (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) are approached by Tip (Jordan Loughran), a young girl who has lost her way, Jack (Gerran Howell) is lead down a path where he meets a mysterious woman, Lady Ev, who wears a gilded mask. She is the princess of Ev, which is the kingdom next door to Oz.
Lady Ev is portrayed by Stefanie Martini. The English-born actress is known for her roles on the TV series Prime Suspect 1973 (Jane Tennison) and Doctor Thorne (Mary Thorne). Martini will appear next on the big screen in the film Crooked House based on the Agatha Christie novel with Glenn Close, Christina Hendricks, and Gillian Anderson. Emerald City airs Fridays at 9pm on NBC.
