In the New Girl episode ‘Cece’s Boys’, when not pursuing her search of a new vice principal, Jess (Zooey Deschanel) helps Cece (Hannah Simone) search for new male models. During their “Hunk Hunt” they run into Donovan. Last time we saw Donovan was in November; when Jess announced that she was ready to start dating again and Schmidt encouraged her to give his workout partner a chance.
Donovan is portrayed by Trent Garrett. He’s best known for his roles as Brad on Make It or Break It and Asher Piker on the daytime soap opera All My Children. Garrett is working on a new Disney Channel series called Andi Mack directed by Jerry O’Connell. New Girl airs Tuesdays at 8pm on FOX.
