Paranormal Lockdown experts Nick Groff and Katrina Weidman travel to Buffalo, New York to investigate paranormal activity reported at the abandoned Statler City Hotel. It was built in 1921 as a luxury hotel where over the years famous and infamous people stayed including Elvis and Al Capone. The hotel closed in the 1980s. But that hasn’t kept old spirits away. They enjoy spooking visitors who dare to walk on the 18th floor and near the Old Pool Area where people say the temperature drastically drops and screams are heard, among other things.

On Paranormal Lockdown, Nick positions his Wonder Box in the the Rendezvous Room. He explains that the Wonder Box is a new device that has been picking up “really good audible sounds.” And yes, they do hear something. While they try to track the sound in the Rendezvous, Katrina says she feels like the room is very crowded: “I feel like I’m walking through waves of people.” Paranormal Lockdown airs Fridays at 8pm and 9pm on TLC.
