In the Dance Moms episode ‘The Fresno Curse,’ Abby Lee Miller and her ALDC try to break their losing streak in Fresno. The Dance Mom who looks the most skeptical and nervous is Holly Frazier, mom of Nia. Abby has choreographed two controversial routines: one addresses race relations; the other is a tango duet for Kendall and Kalani.
Kendall’s mother Jill Vertes says the tango duet is “epic” and “is a dance that will go down in history.” Frazier comments, “You don’t see a tango duet very often at a dance competition.” Nonetheless, Jill believes “Abby knows what she’s doing.” Dance Moms airs Tuesdays at 9pm on Lifetime.
