In the TV movie Heaven Sent, the nine-year marriage of Billy (Christian Kane) and Marie Taylor (Marley Shelton) seems to be coming to an end. Both pray to God for a sign — to either hold on or let go. They get a sign all right. An adorable little girl is sent from heaven to teach them how to love again. During her stay on earth, she gets a visit from Donatello who says her efforts are “very noble.”
Donatello is portrayed by Ernie Hudson. He’s best known for his role as Winston Zeddmore in the Ghostbusters movies. On TV, Hudson is known for his roles on Grace and Frankie (Jacob), The Secret Life of the American Teenager (Dr. Ken Fields), Law & Order (Frank Gibson), Desperate Housewives (Detective Ridley), Oz (Warden Leo Glynn), and St. Elsewhere (Jerry Close), among many others. Heaven Sent premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, December 3 at 8pm.
