On the Teen Mom 2 episode ‘Weekend at Corey’s’, MTV says the men of the show are “fed up with the traditional sappy Teen Mom specials”, so they take it upon themselves to gather at Corey Simms’s (Leah Messer’s ex) for a “guys only” adventure. Gary Shirley (Amber Portwood’s ex), Nathan Griffith (Jenelle Evans’ ex) and Jo Rivera (Kaitlyn’s ex) carpool in Gary’s massive pickup truck. Nathan and Jo show up wearing matching camouflage shorts.
On his gravel driveway, Gary has foldable chairs and coolers lined up for his guests. Nathan suggests that they go snipe hunting. Jo doesn’t know what snipes are. Nathan explains the little birds “are the hardest thing to catch.” Corey chimes in and says he has a snipe caller. When J.C., one of the producers on the show, voices interest and asks if that’s a real thing. Nathan invites him to come along. Gary turns to one of the cameras and whispers, “There’s no such thing as snipe.” A snipe hunt is like a prank, a wild-goose chase given to a newcomer of a group. Teen Mom 2 airs Mondays at 10pm.
