In the New Girl episode ‘Es Good,’ while Schmidt (Max Greenfield) gets Nick (Jake Johnson) to help him win the respect of a gruff house contractor, and Winston (Lamorne Morris) and Cece (Hannah Simone) argue about the advantages and disadvantages of being single, Jess (Zoey Deschanel) and Robby (Nelson Franklin) test their casual relationship by getting together for a double date (each bring a date).
Their dates are portrayed by two soap opeara actors from General Hospital – George Lako (Freddie) and Brytni Sarpy (Valerie Spencer). New Girl airs Tuesdays at 8pm on FOX.
