One year ago, country singer and songwriter Cam (born Camaron Marvel Ochs) released her second studio album Untamed after making a big splash with her hit single“Burning House” which was nominated for a Grammy Award. This week Cam and her band performed the final show of the Burning House Tour in Vegas. But she’s not heading back to Nashville right away. She’s stopping by The Voice Season 11 Live Finale to perform “Burning House” with country singer Josh Gallagher on Team Adam.
The song “Burning House” was inspired by a dream Cam had about trying to save her ex-boyfriend from a burning house. Here’s the beginning of the song:
I had a dream about a burning house
You were stuck inside
I couldn’t get you out
I lay beside you and pulled you close
And the two of us went up in smoke
Cam and Josh may not put out the fire, but The Voice will put out the single! The Voice Live Finale airs Monday and Tuesday (December 12 and 13) at 8pm on NBC.
