Actor Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool, Green Lantern) was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on December 15, 2016. For the unveiling, he brought his wife, actress Blake Lively (The Shallows), and their two young daughters. At the ceremony, Reynolds told his wife that she was the best thing that ever happened to him. Lively reciprocated the love by posting a photo from the big day on Instagram.
The caption reads: “Proud is a pitiful word to describe how I felt today. The permanence of your impact is undeniable….Always has been, but now we have a fancy [star] to show for it.” Out of her 12 million followers, 1 million (so far) liked the post.
