In the Madam Secretary episode ‘Tectonic Shift’, Madam Secretary Elizabeth McCord (Tea Leoni) works with the powers that be and want to be after an earthquake kills the president of Venezuela. Meanwhile, Elizabeth’s brother Will (Eric Stoltz) is back in town. He’s been offered a job at Walter Reed Medical Center, which would help his marriage, but his instinct is to fly to Venezuela to help in the relief effort.
Sophie Adams, Will’s wife, is portrayed by Tara Summers. The British actress is known for her roles on Mercy Street (Anne Hastings), Stalker (Tracy Wright), Rake (Leanne Zander), Ringer (Gemma Butler), Damages (Alex Benjamin), and Boston Legal (Katie Lloyd), among others. Madam Secretary airs Sundays at 9:30pm on CBS.
