The Growing Up Hip Hop episode ‘Busta Crime’ is not a lighthearted one. While Boogie Dash receives bad news about his DUI charges, Romeo’s sister goes missing, and Briana Isaacs (daughter of label exec Kendu Isaacs) flees Los Angeles after she was physically attacked by a man she’s been dating. She was hit in the face. When she arrives at the Dash house, father Damon Dash asks Bree, “Is this something you want to talk about?” She sighs, “I just have bad taste in men. I really don’t know how to pick ’em. Clearly.”
Damon Dash tells Briana, “No real man would put his hands on a woman like that.” She admits this wasn’t the first time. When asked if she’s going back to him, she gets upset, leaves the room and says, “I’m sorry.” Growing Up Hip Hop airs Thursdays at 9pm on WEtv.
