Soraya Hargrove is portrayed by Lauren Vélez. She’s known for her roles on South of Hell (Tetra), Dexter (Capt. Maria LaGuerta), Ugly Betty (Elena), Numb3rs (Claudia Gomez), Oz (Dr. Gloria Nathan), and New York Undercover (Detective Nina Moreno), among many others. Fun fact about Velez: Right after high school, she received a scholarship from the Alvin Ailey Dance School. Her first job was performing in the national touring company of Dreamgirls.
