In the New Girl episode ‘James Wonder’, Jess (Zooey Deschanel) does her best to get the soon-to-be-open principal’s job. Principal Genevieve (Lucy Punch) is on her way out. But before taking over, Jess must impress the difficult president of the Parents’ Council, Ed Warner.
Ed Warner is portrayed by David Hornsby. He’s known for his roles on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Matthew “Rickety Cricket” Mara), Unsupervised (Joel), How to Be a Gentleman (Andrew Carlson), and Six Feet Under (Patrick), among others. Fun fact: In real life, he is the brother-in-law of Zooey Deschanel; he is married to her sister Emily Deschanel of the other FOX hit Bones. New Girl airs Tuesdays at 8:30pm on FOX.
