Grammy Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell will perform at The Performing Arts Center at Purchase College on Sunday, October 30 at 3pm. (Tickets $97.50/$87.50/$62.50). Bell will be accompanied by pianist Alessio Bax.
2016 has been a busy year for Bell, who spent the spring in Cuba as part of President Obama’s Arts and Humanities Delegation in Havana. Bell hit it off with the Chamber Orchestra of Havana and has invited them to perform with him at Lincoln Center on December 16 with a number of artists including Dave Matthews, who was also a part of the American delegation in Cuba. Bell’s latest CD is For the Love of Brahams with cellist Steven Isserlis and pianist Jeremy Denk.
