Muckraking filmmaker Michael Moore is screening a film of his one-man show called “Michael Moore in TrumpLand.” Critics say that Moore uses the film, simply called TrumpLand, to praise Hillary Clinton as much as to bash her rival Donald Trump. A Bernie Sanders supporter at heart, Moore has taken his time coming around to Clinton’s side — but he’s all in now.

Moore hopes his late pitch for Clinton — his October Surprise — is more successful than his last large-scale effort to influence an election. In 2004 Moore’s Faherenheit 9/11 failed to convince voters that George W. Bush should be voted out of office. Moore made his name in 1989 with the film Roger & Me — an inventive and heartbreaking examination of modern capitalism’s effect on working class people.
