On the Season 6 premiere episode of 2 Broke Girls, while Sophie (Jennifer Coolidge) and Oleg (Jonathan Kite) get ready to have their baby in the hospital, Max (Kat Dennings) and Caroline (Beth Behrs) prepare to introduce their baby to the world — their Dessert Bar. Before the grand opening, a number of things go wrong and a number of surprise guests show up including rapper 2 Chainz. For those 2 Broke Girls fans who don’t know 2 Chainz, here’s the skinny on the hip hop star.
Born Tauheed Epps, 2 Chainz launched his career with fellow hip hop artist Dolla Boy. Together they were Playaz Circle and worked with Ludacris and his label Disturbing Tha Peace, a subsidiary of Def Jam Records. Their debut album Supply & Demand included the single “Duffle Bag Boy” featuring Lil Wayne. In 2011, Epps went solo as 2 Chainz. His debut album Based on a T.R.U. Story featured “No Lie” featuring Drake. After being nominated for four Grammy Awards, in 2015 Epps announced he’s starting his own label, The Real University. 2 Broke Girls airs Mondays at 9pm on CBS.
