In the Season 2 premiere episode of Blindspot, ‘In Night So Ransomed Bridge,’ Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) is found working at a motel as a maid. When the FBI recaptures her (after she’s escaped the CIA which kept her in a straightjacket for three months, among other things), they convince her to become a triple-agent with her old terrorist organization. She agrees: she wants the people who tortured her to pay. This time around, the FBI is working with the head of the NSA’s secret department, Naz Kamal.
Naz is portrayed by Archie Panjabi. She’s best known for her role as private investigator Kalinda Sharma in The Good Wife. Since The Good Wife, Panjabi has appeared on the TV series Shetland (Asha Israni) and Power Monkeys (Preeya). She also starred in the 2015 action adventure film San Andreas with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (Serena Johnson). Blindspot airs Wednesdays at 10pm on NBC.
