The protagonist of the new TV series Pitch is Ginny Baker (Kylie Bunbury), the first woman to play Major League Baseball. When she shows up for her first day as a San Diego Padre, she’s greeted by coach Al “Skip” Luongo (Dan Lauria) and the dapper general manager Oscar Arguella.
Oscar is portrayed by Mark Consuelos. He’s known for his roles on Queen of the South (Tio Aljarafe), Kingdom (Chapas), the Amazon series Alpha House with John Goodman (Senator Andy Guzman), American Horror Story (Spivey), All My Children (Mateo Santos), and Hope & Faith (Gary “The Gooch” Gucharez), among others.
