In the TV movie Casa Vita, a young farmer from Iowa named Early Lindstrom (Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Babby Daddy) moves to Los Angeles to attend a major league baseball camp. There he meets catcher Beto (Hector Bucio) who brings him to his family’s Mexican restaurant Casa Vita. Early falls for Beto’s sister, the chef Ariana (Lindsey Morgan) — but Ariana has a lot of issues with her father Rodrigo Vita.

Rodrigo Vita is portrayed by Esai Morales. He’s known for his roles on Criminal Minds (Section Chief Mateo Cruz), NYPD Blue (Lt. Tony Rodriguez), and American Family (Esteban Gonzalez), among many others. Morales is also recognized for his roles in the films Gun Hill Road (Enrique Rodriguez), La Bamba (Bob Morales), and Bad Boys (Paco Moreno). Casa Vita premieres on LMN on Tuesday, September 6 at 8pm.
