On Oprah: Where Are They Now?, Oprah Winfrey visits actor David Faustino who’s best known for his role as Bud Bundy in the provocative and popular sitcom Married with Children (1987-1997). Faustino says when he meets fans he’s told constantly that their parents wouldn’t let them watch Married with Children. Faustino can relate. “My family was a lot more strict than the Bundy family.”
According to Faustino, now 42, he grew up in a very small house in Burbank with his two brothers and two sisters. He was raised in a strict, Italian Catholic family – and went to Catholic school. “We weren’t allowed to watch any kind of risqué humor or anything with sexual connotations.” Oprah: Where Are They Now? airs Saturdays at 10pm on OWN.
