The new reality TV show on WEtv, Jim & Chrissy: Vow or Never is about rapper Jim Jones and his longtime girlfriend Chrissy Lampkin. They’ve been dating for more than ten years. While Chrissy wants to make the Vow, Jim’s behavior could lead one to believe that he’ll Never say I do. In the season premiere of Jim & Chrissy: Vow or Never, Jim is caught at a strip club which doesn’t make Chrissy happy.
Harlem native Jim Jones (born Joseph Guillermo Jones II) is known for his 2006 platinum single ‘We Fly High’ (#5 on the Billboard Top 100 list) from his third studio album Hustler’s P.O.M.E. (Product of My Environment). Jones was an original member of The Diplomats (aka Dipset) and is co-CEO of Diplomat Records with rapper Cam’ron. This isn’t Jim and Chrissy’s first time on TV: they were on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: New York (Seasons 1 and 2) and Chrissy & Mr. Jones. Jim & Chrissy: Vow or Never airs Thursdays at 10pm on WEtv.
