In the TV movie It Had to Be You, advertising executive Nolan Powell (Corbin Bernsen) acquires the boutique ad agency where his daughter Darby Powell (Torrey DeVitto) works. Not everyone is crazy about the merger, especially Darby who’s out to prove that she’s more than Nolan Powell’s daughter. She’s pitted against her new office rival Derrick Henderson, who turns out to be a nice guy.
Derrick is portrayed by Micahel Rady. He’s known for his roles on UnReal (Coleman Wasserman), Jane the Virgin (Lachlan Moore), The Mentalist (Luther Wainwright), House of Lies (Wes Spencer), and Melrose Place (Jonah Miller), among others. Rady is also well recognized for his role as Kostos in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies. It Had to Be You will premiere on LMN on Tuesday, August 30 at 8pm.
