On The Real Housewives of Melbourne episode ‘By Invitation Only,’ the bride-to-be Gamble Breaux hosts a cocktail party where she hands out wedding invitations to her lady friends. Gamble has been on the fence about inviting Pettifleur Berenger but in the end she decides it’s the right thing to do. Gamble saves Pettifleur’s invitation for last. Pettifleur accepts the invitation but only for a minute. Pettifleur gives the invitation back to Gamble and says, “I don’t want to be too rude but you have to think about it before you give it to me.” She goes on to say that she can’t accept it until Gamble gives it a second thought, “think about it again, why you’re inviting me, why you want me to be there.”
Gamble takes a second and says, “Okay, I’ve thought about it,” and she throws the invitation behind her. Janet Roach, who just told Pettifleur that she doesn’t trust or believe anything Gamble says, says “And that’s exactly what she [Gamble] should have done.” The Real Housewives of Melbourne airs Fridays at 9pm on Bravo.
