Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds is the 57-year-old R&B musician, songwriter and producer competing on Season 23 of Dancing with the Stars. The 11-time Grammy Award winner is paired with professional dancer Allison Holker. (Babyface’s most recent Grammy was for his duet album with Toni Braxton, Love, Marriage & Divorce on Motown Records).
Babyface knows a lot about rhythm and a bit about dancing. He’s been in a long relationship with his former backup dancer Nicole “Nikki” Pantenburg, 43, who also used to dance for Janet Jackson, since 2007. They married in May 2014, and are parents to 7-year-old daughter Peyton Nicole Edmonds. You can see Nikki dance in the 1998 TV movie documentary Janet: The Velvet Rope. Dancing with the Stars premieres Monday, September 12 at 8pm on ABC.
