Amber Rose is known for a lot of things. The 32-year-old from Philadelphia describes herself as a “Bald Head Scallywag, Certified Slut, Feminist” among other terms of endearment. The former stripper is recognized as the promiscuous girl in Ludacris’s “What Them Girls Like” video, the ex-girlfriend of Kanye West, the ex-wife of rapper Wiz Khalifa, and mother of son Sebastian. She speaks her mind on The Amber Rose Show on VH1. As she likes to say, “Fuck yo opinion I do what I want.” Rose, the host of The SlutWalk Festival in LA, is not the typical celebrity to appear on Dancing with the Stars but it’s understandable why she was chosen.
For starters, she’s controversial. Second, she’s gorgeous on camera. Third, she has more than 12 million followers on Instagram. When she posted the announcement on social media (she’s been paired with pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy) many fans wrote that they never watched the show before but will now. Dancing With the Stars premieres Monday, September 12 at 8pm on ABC.
