On the Shahs of Sunset episode “La Vida Loca,” when not attending MJ Javid’s rebirth ceremony at a Hollywood cemetery, Reza Farahan goes to city hall to get his marriage license with his husband Adam Neely. Reza surprised Adam with their wedding. But at city hall, Reza learns that their ceremony doesn’t really count because they didn’t have a license first. Anyway, on the permit, Reza writes Adam Neely Farahan. Adam isn’t keen on the name change. “Why don’t you change your name to mine?” Adam asks. Reza says, “I don’t look like a Neely.” Note to Reza: Adam doesn’t look like a Farahan, either.
Then Reza says: “Plus, one of the advantages of keeping my last name is, if we’re ever getting hijacked, they’ll be like oh, (fist to chest), one of us.” Shahs of Sunset airs Sundays at 9pm on Bravo.
