On the Million Dollar Matchmaker episode “Loosey Goosey and Mr. Forever 21,” Patti Stanger meets with two clients. One is Annalisa Matinez who is a 26-year-old party girl who has been single “for a long time.” Next is Tony Tripoli, a 46-year-old from Los Angeles who hasn’t found love with men his own age.
If Tony looks familiar to you, you must be a fan of the late great Joan Rivers. Tripoli is a standup comedian who for four years was the regular opening act for Rivers. He was also a head writer/senior producer on E!’s Fashion Police which starred Joan Rivers. He also appeared on Bravo’s Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List as Kathy’s “main gay.” According to his website, Tripoli is on a quest to become “The Gay Oprah.” Million Dollar Matchmaker airs Fridays at 10pom on WEtv.
