In the Cutting It: In the ATL episode “The New Sheriff in Town,” while Beautii seeks help from Maja, Dedra goes on live radio and calls Maja “a fraud.” Dedra is armed with information she gathered from a conversation with her new friend Pat. Maja, who calls herself the Minister of Weaves, is not the creator of the walk-in $50 weave salon. According to Pat, Maja “stole everything we did.” Pat adds: “If she’s [Maya] the minister, then I’m the pope,” says Pat.
Maya knows she’s not the first one to have a $50 weave salon but she says, “I’m probably the best at it.” Cutting It: In the ATL airs Thursdays at 10pm on WE.
